Programs focus on stewardship, education and responsible preservation.

  • Acquiring horses through donation, rescue and occasional purchase to consolidate the few remaining pure Polish, heritage-bred Arabian breeding stock of rare and historic significance
  • Development of conservation breeding strategies through mare and stallion leasing and foal placements to dedicated individuals committed to the Conservancy's goals.
  • To provide stallion services at no or low fee expense both to Arabian and other horse breed or type owners which will contribute to a growing pool of Polish Arabian influenced pure-bred and part-bred horses.
  • Amalgamation of educational resources and historical documentation regarding the Polish Arabian Horse and its history.
  • Recognition of issues at all levels affecting the Arabian Horse community as a whole and contributing ideas and possible solutions where PAHC participation can be useful.

An Arabian Genetic Discovery & Preservation Program - "Quizzy"

A PAHC initiative inspired by “Quizzy,” a young Arabian stallion whose OAAM case appears inconsistent with current genetic testing. This program supports genetic stewardship, research collaboration, and responsible preservation breeding.

Under Development:

Arabian Heritage Day at the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo - 2027

Now under development by the PAHC, the Arabian Horse Heritage Day would feature an Arabian horse show dedicated to western and stock events, an endurance race challenge and educational presentations and historical exhibits highlighting the breed’s influence on western culture in the U.S.
